The photographer Olaf R. Benold comes from the film industry - the filmmaker from his passion for photography. The look and the know-how for the designed and staged image he gained in 40 years of experience in movie, tv and commercial industry.
During his training in BAVARIA FILM STUDIOS he learned by looking "over the shoulders" of Rainer Werner Fassbinder (* The Marriage of Eva Maria Braun) and Ingmar Bergman (* The Serpent's Egg); with Billy Wilder (* Fedora) he learned the 10 rules of directing, which first 9 are: You should not get bored!
This he took serious in all his work - whether while making a film or a photo shooting. His passion always stands for attractive images and his creativity for high standards: his first media train-movie "Communication in Service and Sales" for Lufthansa AG has been a "best-and long-seller since 1988," which is still used for modern training purposes. The film "Advantage Service" for the Braun AG 2004 has been rewarded by Corporate Media with the award for high standard.
